Description

The Akida IP is a revolutionary neural processor platform that brings real-time AI processing capabilities to the edge. Inspired by the brain's cognitive functions, Akida IP employs neuromorphic principles to deliver low-power AI solutions specifically crafted for applications like vision, audio, and sensor fusion. It features a scalable architecture composed of up to 128 neural nodes, each supporting an efficient allocation of MACs (multiply-accumulate operations) and configurable SRAM for enhanced processing capacity.

This IP is designed to operate independently, integrating seamlessly with any existing microcontroller or application processor. The emphasis on event-based hardware acceleration allows it to minimize computational and communicational loads, significantly reducing the need for host CPU intervention. Additionally, Akida IP supports on-chip learning, including one-shot and few-shot learning capabilities, which limits the transmission of sensitive data, hence bolstering security and privacy measures.
